Ok so today's challenge is 'Thank you' or 'Congratulations'. Checked this out before OH and I went out this morning and so the brain was churning out ideas and then chucking them away - much like I do most Saturdays!!!After a light lunch on the terrace (sun shining - not to much to eat -it clogs the brain cells) I came up to my craft room and ......................yup, you guessed it - blank!Does this only happen to me? I usually come up here and can whizz off a couple of cards, no problem. But Saturdays ..... AARRRGH!
Then a light bulb moment and I remembered a cuttlebug die that I've had a couple of years and found really useful when I had loads of thank you cards to do quickly when I retired (and was showered with pressies). Although this card is supposed to be CAS, just putting the die cut on the base card was TOO plain. So I've punched out the edges of the base card with Martha Stewart corner and edger punches (can't remember the name) and just touched the edge with TH tattered rose for a bit of colour. I did the same with the diecut 'Thanks' (love the way the letters are arranged on this) and placed it in the centre of the card (no 'off centre' for me this week! - sorry Mandi and Chrissie). Three tiny pearls finished it off.
It's not so bad once you start is it - my brain's in gear now and ideas are flowing so watchout I may do another one.
Right now I'm going to look at the other cards and leave a few comments and then it's off to bed!
Thank you for looking

This is so pretty. It reminds me of Broderie Anglaise.

I think I may have this die... it looks so familiar, I'll have to have a look! It would have looked great even without the inking!
Thanks for joining us again!

Love the jumbled thanks. Looks great against the white. x
What an unusual card you came up with it's lovely.
You should have bought that stamp, mine cost 9.99 - I doubt it was that at the car boot!
