Less is More - week 22- BLUE

This is so spooky!! I've been catching up on making family and friends' birthday cards this week and as most of them were for men, guess what?................. Yup, most of them had a blue theme!
But I had to make a special effort for the lovely Lady and Diva Lims so I made another one this morning. Just a quickie because I'm off to a special school reunion later this morning. The school that I left (can you believe it) 50 years ago - yes I AM that old - is 100 years old this year so they're having a centenary celebration. Can't wait to see how many girls turn up and to see how we've all changed!
I'm sorry I'm rambling again - so with a blue theme I made this 'Just to say' card. It's a 5 inch square dark blue base card (some I had left over from making Christmas cards a couple of years ago) and I scored a couple of lines to help keep the little squares straight! These are just bits out of my 'odds' drawer. Then I added a dotted line with a white pen and did a ............HANDWRITTEN! - yes handwritten sentiment also in white. I used to have very good handwriting (years of practise working in a school) and wondered if it was still as good. What do you think. Should I have put a printed one on?
Off to get ready for my day out now. No doubt I'll see you later with another one - I'm loving this week's theme.
Close up of my handwriting.

Brilliant! I think there needs to be a new range of sentiments stamps released in "Di's script" I'd never have realised it was hand written. You could make yourself some pocket money if you got the stamps made;)
Have a great reunion,Julie x

Love the patchwork effect. I've used freehand writing on my card too but mine is copying a script - not my own wonderful handwriting like yours is :-)
