Less is More - week 27 - colours of your nation's flag

Wow! There are going to be some really bright cards this week over at Less is More. This week it's 'COLOURS of YOUR NATION'S FLAG!'
So I'm English and here are colours of the St. George's flag. A very quick entry this morning because I'm supposed to be getting ready to go down to Somerset for my great nephew's 1st birthday party!
Base is my usual 5inch white square card with a computer generated sentiment made in Publisher. The three roses are Marianne's Chinese roses with a Marianne swirly leaf die. For a bit of sparkle I added tiny gems to the centre of the roses. Actually that's not quite true! One of the roses 'unravelled' a bit too much while I wasn't looking and as it looked a bit odd with an open centre I stuck the gem in to disguise it!!!!! The roses and swirly leaf are cut from handmade red paper I've had for years.I think I got it in a Hobbycraft's  sale.

Photos aren't brilliant today - think it must be the poor light - it's a bit a bit overcast this morning. Hope it brightens up for the BBQ party this afternoon.
Right now I must go and shower and then get into my birthday suit - NO NO not the pink fleshy one for those of you having naughty thoughts!!!
I may be back later this week with another now that my mojo has come back from his holidays - I've got ideas buzzing round in my head and not enough time to do them all.

Totally stunning and elegant. Most of the Marianne dies are a need in my craft room but can't always afford them. Love your card and is one of my favourites from this weeks entries:-)
