Less is More -Week 30 -Recipe

Well I could hardly believe that as I typed in the heading for this week's challenge blog over at Less is More that it's been 30 weeks since the two lovely lady Limettes, Mandi and Chrissie started this challenge. It's changed my crafting life. No more piling on embellishments or tons of ribbon  for me. I'm a CAS crafter now! So thank you both.
Anyway back to this week. It's 'Take 3 Challenges' and combine them so mine is
Week 8 - Sketch
Week 9 - A Touch of Red (I missed out on this one because I was house sitting for my daughter)
Week 14 - White on White (This has to be my favourite challenge. I love single colour cards)
OOPS!Should be
Week 29 - Colours of my flag - Flag of St George - red and white. (See note at end of post)
Card is a 5inch square (no change there then) in white Centura pearl with a ribbon cut in the same card using Martha Stewart punch, Then a red flower which is eight layers of die cut handmade paper scrunched up and secured with a black brad. I also punched out 2 layers of black paper for the spikey bit in the middle. Sentiment is a black peel off (yes we've all got peel offs though won't always admit to it will we?)
Now DH has finally stopped snoring and making moves to get showered and dressed so it's off to a car boot to see if there are any bargains to be snapped up! But I'll be back, I'm loving this week.

NB. Just got back with my bargains and read Chrissie and Mandi's comments. Yes I was pushing it a bit with white on white. So it's colours of the flag of St George from week 29. That's me on the naughty step then!

This is lovely Diane, what a beautiful flower... but because it's red... the card can't really count for 'White on White'... although having looked through the challenges it may pass for 'Flower or tree' (we're ignoring the one layer bit this week) or even Red and White for St George's flag.(I'm not quite sure where you are from!)
Maybe you can decide!
Thanks so much
Chrissie
