Less is More

Sandra (my sister) is over here from France and we've had a crafty afternoon!

These two cards are a joint effort. I got as far as putting the white ribbon on and then tried several flowers /buttons and none of them looked right. "Why not try a butterfly!" said San. And yup ............. it looked perfick!

Base card is embossed dotty red 5inch square. White narrow ribbon and a two layer butterfly  - top layer patterned vellum and bottom layer white card. 5 white pearls finished it off  Will put a sentiment on later when I can decide what it should be.

The second card we did was one that I'd already started on Saturday morning but, once again,after putting on the ribbon I couldn't think what to do next. San came up with the idea of a button and flower. What a great team we make eh?

So once again the base card is a 5inch square. Red ribbon was randomly pleated and the white flower (one of a pack from Poundland!) had a white button that San coloured with Promarker (crimson). A small piece of white ribbon finished this one off.

Now a question for all you 'techie' LIMETTES. How do I get a link into the text on my blog? Any help (in very simple terms)would be very much appreciated. I only know how to put the link to The Less is More site like this

http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.com/2011/08/week-27-colour.html and what I would like to do is to put the words Less is More in the text so that it links straight back to the site.

We've just had a light bulb moment and found out how to do it!!!!
