Less is More - One layer - LEAVES

So over at Less is More this week it's the dreaded (for me, anyway) one layer and it's LEAVES. Well it's Autumn so leaves are very topical especially if you were to take a look at my garden - they're everywhere!! Hopefully if it's a nice day tomorrow (as promised by the weathermen) I shall have time to rake them up. I find there's something very satisfying about raking up leaves - sad,eh?!!
I spent yesterday morning clearing my daughter's garden of leaves from their HUGE magnolia tree and collecting 4 large sacks of them. Just think of all that lovely compost next year!
But I digress. I decided on holly for Christmas instead of autumn leaves. My card this week is a 5 inch scalloped square (no change there then) and I printed a holly wreath - very simple one from clip art in Publisher. I'm planning a stamped one with the same idea but that's for later. I've already done this design with die cut holly leaves but that's NOT ALLOWED this week!
Coloured in with Promarkers and sentiment printed in the centre of the wreath. Off to make porridge for breakfast now. Hopefully see you again.
Thanks for all the lovely comments last week and hope to visit more of you this week if time and wedding stuff allow!

Your card doesn't look as if you don't enjoy one layer cards at all Di - it's beautiful! Well done on the raking leaves... I'm not starting mine until it's stopped raining!

Wow! What gorgeous colouring! A beautiful card! Your cards from last week are totally stunning too.
Our drive seems to collect all the leaves from the trees on our street. This time of year we are knee deep in them, even if we swept it yesterday!

I'm with you. Leaves are much prettier in someone else's yard. OR.. on a pretty card like yours.
